Great movie, and a great scene - reminds me of The Graduate and Dustin Hoffmann at the bottom of the pool in full divers suit. Also because the music is a bit Simon and Garfunkelish.
I seem to remember Wes Anderson saying in an interview that the scene is inspired by the pool scene in The Graduate.
