It looks like you've drawn panels separately and then put them together to form the page. Is that how you work? Or is it a preliminary sketch?
No, the panels are inked on the same paper. I always have the design of the whole page in mind.
Thanks for the explanation. I was puzzled. I think I recall Chester Brown does or did draw separate panels, but reading your stuff I never had the impression you did.
