The gentleman suffering a severe puncture wound on the left looks like he could be, perhaps, John Steed from TV's "The Avengers?"
The story takes place in England. so I gave the guy a bowler hat. The Avengers was not an inspiration for this story. If so, I would have given him an umbrella as well.
