Wonderful - congratulations! I was just recently hoping you had a new book coming out soon. Any idea when it'll get a US release? I automatically buy everything you do, and have ever since reading the Fantagraphics English editions of Hey, Wait... and Shhhh! in 2002.
I second Michael's words. Your work is always a highlight of the comic year. And I'm sure this new one will be great as usual.
But I wonder, what happened with the planned The Left Bank Gang sequel? Are you planning to release it in album format, as the first story, or you are keeping it for the future collection?
Hello and thanks! The Left Bank Gang sequel, that takes place during the Second World War, will be a 48 page album. At least, that is the plan. If all goes well, that should be the next book. But I'm working on a longer graphic novel as well, so possibly things will change.
I live in France and do books for French publishers. Sometimes the Norwegian version is published at the same time as the French one. The American version will often come out 4 to 6 months later.
