I don't know why there is a bluish tone on all the latest scans. I crank up the contrast, and it looks okay in photoshop...

    I'm not seeing blue tint here. It could be happening if your RGB working space in Photoshop is different from the RGB profile your display uses.

    I really like the black, white and red palette, particularly the softness of the red. Very nice!
