How do you work on that many pages at once ? I thought it was like two or three at a time.Good luck for your elbow, I'll work on a bionic drawing arm, in case of futur accident.
Thanks, a bionic drawing arm could come in handy (ha!) one day!Not sure why I work the way I do. It just happens like that... It's not something I reccommend! Often you get ideas for one story while you're working on another, your mind keep spinning. I find it hard to finish one story, with the pages drawn in correct order. I will have to work on all the stories at the same time. In the end, though, it's distracting, and slows down your drawing. In the case of this book, I had eight different stories in different stages of being finished, but ended up putting aside the longer stories to focus on four of the shorter ones. There's maybe a week left of work on those, and I will then start working on the others, but try to finish them one story at the time.
you're such an influence for me, Jason. I admire you but is hard to try to not imitate you anymore. Im from Argentina. http://labestiaenmi.tumblr.com/ (if you have time)
Wow, thanks! That's a great tumblr page. Love those paintings.
Oh crikey, I hope you recover soon, old chap. Rest well and good healing thoughts to you!
Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you! I'm taking some treatment for the elbow, and it seems to be helping. I look forward to start drawing again.
Jason,Your work is a huge inspiration to me. I love your style of drawing and really enjoy your stories. I hope all goes well with your elbow. The way you do your work does seem distracting but it must work for you after all years. Continued success with the next book!www.garyfieldsstudios.blogspot.com
Thanks, Gary! Nice blog, by the way.
Jason, thanks very much! That means a lot coming from a talented cartoonist such as yourself.
