  1. I've just finished the translation for the Spanish edition of Athos and I must say you've outdone yourself. Again. Buko and Woof, particularly, stand out for me as two of the most poignant stories you've ever done. As usual, you've turned my job into a real pleasure. So I just wanted to say thank you and cheers!

  2. I love this!I can not remember looking forward to a book release more than this, the Buk story on its own will be worth the price! will you be doing a signed bookplate for Fantagraphics for it?

  3. I don't think there's any bookplate planned for this book, so far. And don't have too high expectations for this book. You'll only end up disappointed.

  4. im sure it will more than live up to my expectations! Is the Buk story inspired by any particular story of Hanks or just by the great man in general?

  5. It's influenced by Women, his novel. But the main character is NOT Bukowski, just to make that clear. It's me. So it's an autobiographical story. Or at least the main character is called Jason.

  6. Sorry I did realise it was Jason! So does Jason like a drink? Have you read Charles Bukowski's Scarlet, its a memoir by Pamela "Cupcakes" Wood one of the girlfriends from Women? It wa intresting to hear her side of the story!
