  1. Hi Jason! Great to see there's a new book on its way. I have a few questions for you, as I requested via Facebook a couple of months ago. If you ever have time to answer them, I would love to read your replies. My email is isabelv4@gmail.com.

How long does it take for you to finish a short story (like "I killed Adolph Hitler")? Do they require a lot of effort to finish or is it something that comes to you naturally?

You have experimented with different formats: short panel strips, short stories, collections of stories and also complete graphic novels. Do you work with an idea and then choose the format, or do you try to create a story that will fix an specific format? Which one has been more rewarding to you so far?

Can you tell me a bit about the movies and books that you love? When did the monster of Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Vampire and Elvis appeared in your life?

A subject that keeps popping up in your work is sex. When it appears, it does so in very complex situations that involve guilt, shame or even aggression (such as the Caveman or the inventor in "You Can't Get There From Here"). Is sex the cause of all problems? Would you say it defines the human condition?

One of the most amazing things of your work is that your scenes are poetic without relying on words or even facial expressions. Is there any story that you would think it's impossible to narrate within your style? Are actions and circumstances more crucial than words?

    Thanks so much!
