Well, I had to rewatch this film as well. It's uneven, especially if you've seen it a couple of times. Some jokes fall flat. But there's some pretty funny stuff as well and the Woody Allen shtick hasn't gotten old quite yet. Get off my beard, you little jerk!
Now here is one I haven't seen. This and anything after "Matchpoint". Did I miss anything? My own favourites are "Annie Hall", "Manhattan" and "Hannah and her sisters"

RépondreSupprimerWell, since Shadows And Fog, which didn't leave any lasting impression on me, he did make at least two great movies: Deconstruction Harry and Celebrity. Especially …Harry has some really fine moments and harsh critic on religion. And I do have a soft spot for Everyone says I love you. Radio Days is a real treat, Farrows rise from cigaret girl to radio stardom is fantastic ("Get regular with Relax…").
